TWO VOICES IN MY HEAD
By Benjamin L. Graham February 7, 2015
There are two voices in my head,I call both of them ―Something Said.
They both tell me what I should do, I must decide between the two
If I don‘t like the end results,I must confess that it‘s my fault
I must stop denying all along, That I prefer... to do what‘s wrong
For even when I don‘t agree...I may do things that harm... me
So I must learn to stop and think, ―From which one's cup do I choose to drink?
Which Something should I listen to? They both tell me what I should do
One of them deserves a toast The other one has hurt me most
Something said, ― “Don‘t go to church, Get on the web and do a search|”
Something said, ―”Bad attitude‖ ―Go fellowship and share gratitude”
Something said “Lets go get drunk … grab a beer and a bag of skunk”
Something said “Let get some crack … we’ll do one hit and then come back”
Something said “Now that’s a lie … you can’t come right back once you get high
Something said “If you‘re discrete, you can get high, just sneak and cheat”.
“My P.O. is cool, one hit won’t show... If you don’t tell no one will know”
Something said, “Are you insane? Why go back to all that pain”
Something said “You’ve had enough … Stop doing all that stupid stuff”
There are two voices in my head… One wants me to live, one wants me dead
And all day long I hear their voice… But it‘s up to me, to make that choice
One full of love... One full of sin … And they always fight to see who‘ll win
Which Something Said should we listen to? They both tell us what we should do
Well, think real hard and you can tell One is from God … and the other is from Hell!
